Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using Unity Roots Go Blue. By accessing the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Unity Roots Go Blue platform ("Platform"), website, or any related services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any modifications to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Important: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Unity Roots Go Blue. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Section 02

Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must be at least 16 years of age. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 may use the Platform only with verifiable parental or guardian consent.

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You may not create an account if you have previously been banned
  • One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted
  • Corporate or organisational accounts require prior written approval

Section 03

User Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorised access to your account
  • You may not transfer your account to any other person
  • Accounts inactive for 24 months may be subject to deletion after notice

You agree to keep your profile information up-to-date and to not misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation.

Section 04

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Community Guidelines. You must not use the Platform in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Harms, threatens, or harasses any other user or third party
  • Involves transmitting spam, chain letters, or unsolicited communications
  • Attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
  • Introduces viruses, malware, or other malicious or harmful code
  • Scrapes, crawls, or harvests content without prior written permission
  • Impersonates any person or entity, including Unity Roots staff

Section 05

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit ("User Content"). By posting User Content on the Platform, you grant Unity Roots Go Blue a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to post the content
  • The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
  • The content does not contain defamatory, obscene, or unlawful material
  • You have obtained necessary consents from individuals featured in your content

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without prior notice.

Section 06

Intellectual Property

The Platform and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Unity Roots Go Blue and its licensors. This includes but is not limited to the logo, design, text, graphics, and software.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without our express written permission.

Section 07

Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Section 08

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Any reliance on the Platform is at your sole risk.

Note: Content shared by community members reflects their personal opinions and experiences. Unity Roots Go Blue does not endorse any User Content and is not responsible for its accuracy.

Section 09

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unity Roots Go Blue, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of £50 or the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Section 10

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will do so.

Section 11

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Section 12

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email or through a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
