Our Commitment
Unity Roots Go Blue is a global community for people living abroad — immigrants, international students, expats, and anyone navigating life in a new country. Our guidelines exist not to restrict you, but to ensure this remains a safe, welcoming, and authentic space for every voice.
These principles guide every interaction — stories, events, comments, and connections.
Treat every member with dignity. Disagreements happen — handle them with grace. No personal attacks, insults, or condescending language.
Share real experiences. Don't create fake profiles, impersonate others, or misrepresent who you are. Authenticity is the heart of this community.
Never share another member's personal information without their consent. What is shared in the community stays in the community.
Content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability is strictly prohibited.
Many members share vulnerable stories. Respond with empathy. A kind word can mean everything to someone navigating isolation.
Do not post unsolicited advertising, MLM links, or repetitive self-promotion. Posts must add genuine value to members.
Our community spans dozens of countries and cultures. Approach differences with curiosity and respect — diversity is our greatest strength.
Do not post illegal content, pirated material, or content that violates copyright. Members are responsible for their posts.
Do not knowingly spread false information, especially about immigration, health, or legal matters. Members rely on this community for real guidance.
Posts should relate to living abroad — stories, events, resources, advice, and connection. Keep it meaningful.
We take violations seriously. Our moderation process is fair, consistent, and transparent.
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it. Your report is confidential and helps keep this community safe.
By joining Unity Roots, you agree to uphold these guidelines and help us build a community where everyone feels welcome and safe.
